[..YouTube..] I have D60… perfect camera for beginers… Really good quality of pictures… but if I could choose again I would by D200 or D300…
March 21st, 2009 at 8:50 am
[..YouTube..] What excatly is aperture?
March 24th, 2009 at 11:56 am
[..YouTube..] It’s depth
March 29th, 2009 at 10:42 pm
[..YouTube..] it’s how much light is being let into the camera.
March 30th, 2009 at 8:28 am
[..YouTube..] Oh, whats depth then?
April 2nd, 2009 at 4:14 am
[..YouTube..] i’d go a200.
April 4th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
[..YouTube..] im a beginner in photography, and learning all the basic skills and everything.would this camera help me learn more about photography?is this a good camera?
April 7th, 2009 at 7:13 am
[..YouTube..] depth refer to depth of filed, the larger the aperture the shallower the depth of filed
April 9th, 2009 at 6:28 am
[..YouTube..] Morris – I, like you, am a novice and bought this a week ago (£342 with the VR lens). It’s my 1st dslr and it’s great for what I need. There are bags of videoes on yt to learn tips etc and it’s easy to use (in auto obviously) but also in the more advanced ‘manual’ modes. Am in danger of becoming a camera bore already!
April 9th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
[..YouTube..] Can someon e please explain me what ISO is?Thx =)
April 9th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
[..YouTube..] get yourself some research at google en wikipedia?
April 12th, 2009 at 1:31 pm
[..YouTube..] certainly the a200
April 16th, 2009 at 12:53 pm
[..YouTube..] this is d80!!!!!!
April 16th, 2009 at 2:12 pm
[..YouTube..] i think the D60 is a really good camera, and maybe the best one if you want to buy a mirrorreflexcamera if you’re not a professionaland maybe even for professionals, it could be a good camera..anyway, i LOOOVVVEEE my D60, so..
April 28th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
[..YouTube..] even for pros the d60 is really good! i love my d601
April 29th, 2009 at 1:04 pm
[..YouTube..] iso is the sensitivity of the sensor to light. if its dark outside and you dont have a tripod then you need to put the iso higher so that the camera can have a faster shutter speed.
May 6th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
[..YouTube..] It allows more light to come into the sensor. The higher it is, the more light you have coming through the sensor, however, you the photos will come out grainy. But with my D60, I find an ISO of 200 to be perfect in most of my outdoor and indoor shooting.
May 6th, 2009 at 11:02 pm
[..YouTube..] LOL, built in MOTA
May 10th, 2009 at 11:18 am
[..YouTube..] great reviewi think i might just go buy buy one right now
May 14th, 2009 at 11:40 pm

May 16th, 2009 at 8:11 am
[..YouTube..] just bought one , absolutely awsome camera
May 16th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
[..YouTube..] i agree
May 16th, 2009 at 3:12 pm
[..YouTube..] d60 all the way:D need reasons serch dprewiev:D
May 17th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
[..YouTube..] canon rebel xs or nikon d60is the 7 focus point a big advantage over 3 focus points
May 18th, 2009 at 2:12 am
[..YouTube..] better take d60 … i have one and 3 focus poins or 7 dosnt do much diference

Great Camera
This is my first SLR so I don’t know how others perform; however, so far I LOVE this camera. I was using a Canon digital camera over the past several years and have been…

Great deal
I bought this camera with lens as a refurbished one. It looks like completely a new one except some difference in package. But the price is way cheaper than a new one.

Great Little Camera, But Be Prepared To Work A Bit
I’ve had my D60 for two months now, and only have just gotten familiar enough with it to feel that I can competently write a *useful* review for it.

D60 Honest Review
If you are just getting started with DSLR’s this is probably too much, however if you are vagely familiar with terms such as aperture, speed, ISO, Under-Over Exposed blah blah…

Good lightweight dSLR
I have enjoyed my D60 since purchasing it a year ago. It has served as a great camera for teaching me the details of taking a beautiful photo.
May 22nd, 2009 at 11:39 am
[..YouTube..] is there an image viewer to see the pictures after taking them? or is that live view? sorry im new.please reply, ~Sam
May 26th, 2009 at 2:34 am
[..YouTube..] What means this VR-lens? Whats the difference with another lens? Do they all have autofocus? Is this camera good for sportspictures (moving)
May 27th, 2009 at 1:53 pm
[..YouTube..] Live view is when you see the optical view finder on the LCD display:D Im new too.
May 27th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
[..YouTube..] VR-lens means that there is “vibration reduction” so that your image will keep still. It has a 3fps wich is pritty fast, Canon EOS 450D got 3.5fps
May 28th, 2009 at 6:18 am
[..YouTube..] as soon as you take the picture, you get a picture displayed on the screen afterwards.Liveview is what you would normally see through the viewfinder, displayed on the screen.
May 30th, 2009 at 12:05 am
[..YouTube..] I think the camera does not have autofocus.

[..YouTube..] this camera does have autofocus..but with AF lenses only..this camera does not autofocus with older nikor lenses
June 8th, 2009 at 10:36 am
[..YouTube..] It has auto focus but you need to have an AF-S lens to AF on this camera. The older Nikkor lenses are manual focus only on this camera because it does not have an AF motor on the camera body. The motor is in the lens for this camera.
June 9th, 2009 at 8:14 pm
[..YouTube..] Does it have live view ? Thanks.
June 10th, 2009 at 8:24 am
[..YouTube..] i wish I have one of this….
June 11th, 2009 at 9:25 am
[..YouTube..] it doesnt have live view but the d90 has however you have to bear the price which is double the d60.
June 13th, 2009 at 3:00 pm
[..YouTube..] live view is a crutch and can make you lose things such as focus.Even if it had live view, i wouldn’t use it.
June 13th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
[..YouTube..] if you have the cash, you’d be better off buying the body alone, and then the nikon nikkor 18-200mm vr dx lens
June 18th, 2009 at 5:36 am
[..YouTube..] I just won the D60 with an additional 55-200 VR lens on an auction. Brand new I only paid aprox 150$ for it… It retails for 950$ in Norway. – Looking forward to get it in the mail
June 18th, 2009 at 9:02 am
[..YouTube..] how much does the 18-200mm vr lens cost though?
June 18th, 2009 at 11:47 am
[..YouTube..] Hey everyone i know ppl hate this but i just made a D60 unboxing, please view and rate Thank you
June 18th, 2009 at 11:48 am
[..YouTube..] Live view in Digital SLR’s isn’t that important i agree with skwel23 its a crutch
June 18th, 2009 at 11:42 pm
[..YouTube..] $800
June 18th, 2009 at 11:46 pm
[..YouTube..] or you can buy the D5000. it has a rotating live view display with 4 different auto focus options and isn’t as pricey as the D90
June 21st, 2009 at 9:21 am
[..YouTube..] WHAT?! you are sooo lucky, I am buying one for 600 with an 18-55mm lens
June 23rd, 2009 at 8:15 am
[..YouTube..] Nice review of nikon d60
June 23rd, 2009 at 3:12 pm
[..YouTube..] It is pretty cool when in conjunction with Nikon Camera Control Pro 2.
June 26th, 2009 at 2:18 am
[..YouTube..] can i used this camera with an other Lens like tamron??thanks
June 26th, 2009 at 9:49 am
[..YouTube..] Great review and useful information!
June 27th, 2009 at 9:01 pm
[..YouTube..] new, 700 on amazon. if used, anywhere between 500 to 650.
June 27th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
[..YouTube..] yes, tamron, sigma are the two main brands that are compatible with nikon. I just got a Sigma 18-250 OS HSM lens off amazon. so far, a great lens for what u get. I have used tamron and sigma as 3rd party lenses, and both will work justfine with nikon dslr cameras. nikon lenses r expensive cause u pay for the name. yes, nikon lenses are great, but is it worth the extra hundreds of dollars. for me, i got something as good, with more focal range for hundreds less in a sigma lens. good luck
June 30th, 2009 at 10:56 pm
[..YouTube..] just bought one
June 30th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
[..YouTube..] D60. Photo quality is important
June 30th, 2009 at 11:09 pm
[..YouTube..] I found it for 499 canadian
July 1st, 2009 at 7:20 pm
[..YouTube..] How does it work i;m thinking of getting one?
July 2nd, 2009 at 9:11 pm
[..YouTube..] Found the D60 online w/ kit and 18-35mm lens for $429, refurbed! Just got it today…eager to check it out.
July 4th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
[..YouTube..] when you’re taking a foto can i see it on the display ?
July 7th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
[..YouTube..] Wait…so this camera dose NOT have auto focus?
July 8th, 2009 at 8:56 am
[..YouTube..] this cammera takes great photos,.. but doesnt have live view and doesnt have vibration reduction in the body. I would rather look at Olympus E-520 a very interesting option to consider…
July 8th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
[..YouTube..] The focus is NOT built into the camera, but it is built into the lenses only.
July 13th, 2009 at 4:54 am
[..YouTube..] im new and am having a bit of a problem choosing between d5000 and d60. d5000 is better i guess, but again there’s quite a price difference. i would like to ask if the 3 focusing points is a very big problem? and also the live view (might have to get accustomed to it being used to digital cameras)? is d60 in any way better than the d5000 anyway? thanks.
July 13th, 2009 at 8:03 am
[..YouTube..] No.The camera does not have live view.
July 14th, 2009 at 7:59 pm
[..YouTube..] it has auto focus
July 14th, 2009 at 8:00 pm
[..YouTube..] No, but you can view the picture you took
July 14th, 2009 at 8:56 pm
[..YouTube..] good tutorial 5/5
July 17th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
[..YouTube..] im looking to get my first dslr and im split between this camera and the canon 1000d any suggestions on what camera to go for?
July 18th, 2009 at 2:42 am
[..YouTube..] it has 3 auto focus points
July 20th, 2009 at 9:31 am
[..YouTube..] I also was choosing between this two, but to my eye and after many reviews Nikon D60 is quite better.
July 20th, 2009 at 11:47 am
[..YouTube..] yeah i guess so lol do you own a dslr?
July 27th, 2009 at 4:16 pm
[..YouTube..] I ended up opting fot the E-520, very pleased with it.
July 28th, 2009 at 1:35 am
[..YouTube..] Great review! Thanks.
July 30th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
[..YouTube..] can anyone tell me if its difficult to use without the live view?im defiantly considering getting one, but i would like to know peoples opinions.thanks!
July 31st, 2009 at 10:16 am
[..YouTube..] nope.. its really easy.. tho your eyes will be tired if you are a first time user(cause you are using one eye only..).. you’ll get a hang of it after a few hundred shots or so..
August 1st, 2009 at 10:06 pm
[..YouTube..] I prefer not using live view, unless I’m doing difficult shots. Live view is only better than the view finder (imo) for like, awkward positions, or you just don’t feel like holding the camera up to your face.
August 8th, 2009 at 12:11 am
[..YouTube..] Hey skwerl, what do you think of the Nikon 50mm 1.8, I bought that with a refurb. body to take portraits and short range sport photos?
August 11th, 2009 at 6:21 am
[..YouTube..] i got mine few weeks ago. great camera!!! took like 1000s of pictures with it already. planning on getting the nikon 50mm f1.8d for it.
August 23rd, 2009 at 10:47 am
[..YouTube..] Thanks antgun007, but I still don’t know which camera to buy, the new nikon D5000 is, is,…. shipper
…have a nice day.
August 25th, 2009 at 3:33 am
[..YouTube..] After watching a second Nikon review I have discovered that English people pronounce Nikon as Nickon. And Americans pronounce it Nye-con.
August 29th, 2009 at 12:56 am
[..YouTube..] Canadians say it Nye-con as well.
August 29th, 2009 at 1:47 am
[..YouTube..] Is it a region/continent thing then? So North Americans say Nye-con and European people say Nickon?
August 29th, 2009 at 10:38 am
[..YouTube..] I think so. I had never heard it pronounced the British way until I watched these videos. I wonder if people in New Zealand and Australia pronounce it the British way as well.
September 6th, 2009 at 2:48 am
[..YouTube..] Asians say Nickon.
September 14th, 2009 at 5:21 am
[..YouTube..] i say it neee kon
September 24th, 2009 at 8:04 am
[..YouTube..] pronounce it properly. Its not spelt NIY-kon.Say brilliant or input? Is that briy-lliant?No!is that iyn-put?NO!just Nik on(or lower case i compared to upper case iy)End of educating Americans.
September 29th, 2009 at 1:19 am
[..YouTube..] Oh yes, because the letter I is always pronounced as an E right? Chill the fuck out person. You say N(ic)kon we say N(iy)kon. American English isn’t the exact same as English. Now go suck a fag.
October 1st, 2009 at 11:47 am
[..YouTube..] There are no pronunciation rules with proper names, C906070. If what you said was any logical, how would you pronounce the reviewer’s name (Nigel)? or, how would you say, “Nike”?
October 3rd, 2009 at 4:54 pm
[..YouTube..] CAMERALABS REVIEW OF NIKON D60
October 5th, 2009 at 10:16 am
[..YouTube..] The Irish say Nye-Con too, the brit’s just like to turn everything ‘english’ – Nickon sounds cheap.
October 7th, 2009 at 3:55 am
[..YouTube..] nice video I have a D100 I am looking for Nikon D that will compliment my current lens and has a movie/timeLapse function I have a Canon G9 but I is proving to be unreliable I want fast focus, fast shutter reaction, movie function, large LCD thank you
October 16th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
[..YouTube..] WTF who cares how you say it its all about a d60 camera you noobs…..
October 17th, 2009 at 10:16 pm
[..YouTube..] because there is an E in that Noun making it sound like eye.Its a japanese word.A lot of English corrupt other country products and names.Paris is pronounced Parree.EoEA.
October 27th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
[..YouTube..] who gives a fuck how its pronounced.. fuck me.. get a life u sad twats!
November 21st, 2009 at 6:16 am
[..YouTube..] @schooder d90 would be your choice
November 21st, 2009 at 6:18 am
[..YouTube..] @Cagey75 i also like saying nye-con better. once a stupid guy tried to correct me about this… so what? at least i can take pictures much better than that guy.
November 22nd, 2009 at 3:04 pm
[..YouTube..] Does anyone else think, this is great camera to start with when getting into photography?
November 30th, 2009 at 9:04 am
[..YouTube..] Live View???
December 9th, 2009 at 4:17 am
[..YouTube..] Yes I agree with what you said 100% It is a first class “Starter” DSLR much better than an E-420
December 15th, 2009 at 7:19 am
[..YouTube..] Get a used D40 of ebay and a few lenses. The nikon budget slr’s are the top for learning on. You really cant go wrong with the D40 though, and add the 55-200mm vr.
December 15th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
[..YouTube..] is this a good a good camera to start photography with??? or which one shuld i start with?
December 16th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
[..YouTube..] if you want to get into photography you should probably take a class, most classes start teaching you with a film camera. Once you’ve gotten that down you’ll know if you really want to get a good camera or what you want, such as when you’ll be using your camera so you can use that to pick your camera. If your not that into phototgraphy this camera would be good for the “average photographer”
December 17th, 2009 at 10:52 pm
[..YouTube..] i wanted to take photography classes but they are pretty expensive here. so my mom said no. but im really into it. and i wuld like a really good camera tht would last me a while and i culd start a porfolio.
December 22nd, 2009 at 6:42 pm
[..YouTube..] Did I miss it? Any mention of off-camera flash? Does it take a PC cord? What’s the slowest shutter speed to do time photos at night? Will it take a shutter cable or does it come with a remote release?
December 23rd, 2009 at 9:54 am
[..YouTube..] Hello Roxystarr, If I were you I would start with a point and shoot. If you already have then you should try out the Nikon p80 NOT THE p90! (It’s not as good even though it’s a higher version.) Hope that helps! -RBSB
December 23rd, 2009 at 10:10 am
[..YouTube..] thanks for yur help! but i already got my camera lmfao. but thanks anyway!! oh and i saw yur video.. i think it was oh pixies something lol it was really creative & cute, keep it up (:
January 7th, 2010 at 6:49 pm
[..YouTube..] do u think this is a good camera to uy??
February 10th, 2010 at 3:17 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey Rox, I have the D60 and it’s very nice camera to start with, you could go with the D40 since it’ll be cheaper. Since everything is starting to become digital you don’t necessarily need to take classes, you could just self teach yourself by using studying online forums, videos, blogs, books, etc. I have a few friends who are self taught and already have side businesses for weddings and modeling with big recommendations. Just my 2 cents.
February 10th, 2010 at 3:20 pm
[..YouTube..] Although classes are always helpful don’t get me wrong!
